Show must go on!
‘To the showgirl in all of us’.
this was Marc Jacob's dedication at his last Louis Vuitton show.
Jacobs said goodbye to the french maison after 16 years of tenure and it was not all the black that signalled the end, but the retrospective set for which he had revisited his greatest show hits: e.g. the water fountain, the escalators, the hotel doors of last season (with night porters included) and the Louis Vuitton train clock that ticked loudly before hitting 10am, then chiming to signal the start of the show.

The models' make up was pretty minimalist, probably to not draw the attention away to those pharaonic feathered head-dresses.
His towering headpieces were a tribute to the beauty within, a mantra
embraced with force from other designers, where drama and trasformation
took over. |

Black dresses, peaks, everything is declined on this shades that suggests a bereavement. But it's full of energy: sequins, laces, tattoos, tulle dresses on boyfriend jeans... a collection dedicated to few women who inspired Mr Jacobs: from Coco Chanel to Kate Moss, Catherine Deneuve and Miuccia Prada.

è la dedica scritta da Marc Jacobs alla sua ultima sfilata per Louis Vuitton.
Jacobs dice addio dopo 16 anni di onorata carriera alla maison francese, e non è stato solo il nero a sigillare la fine ma bensì il set retrospettivo, per il quale ha rivisitato i più grandi successi dei suoi precedenti show: per esempio la fontana, le scale mobili, le porte d'Hotel (comprensive di portieri) e l'orologio di Louis Vuitton che tichiettò rumorosamente fino allo scoccare delle 10:00, l'inizio dello show.
Il make up delle modelle era piuttosto minimalista, forse per non distogliere l'attenzione dai faraonici copricapi piumati.
I suoi copricapi troneggianti sono un tributo alla bellezza interiore, un mantra che abbracciato con forza anche da altri stilisti, dove teatralità e trasformazione prendono il sopravvento.
Vestiti neri, creste, tutto è declinato in questa tinta che richiama il lutto. Ma il tutto è ricco di energia: pailettes, pizzi, tatuaggi, vestiti di tulle su jeans dal taglio maschile,... una collezione dedicata ad alcune donne che hanno ispirato Mr Jacobs: da Coco Chanel a Kate Moss, Catherine Deneuve e Miuccia Prada.
"Non importa cosa amiate o chi voi siate, la showgirl è in ognuno; tutti noi ci vestiamo per mostrare al mondo quello che vogliamo che veda".

Arquà Petrarca
I've been away for so many days and I feel quiet bad about it.... I'll try my best to not repeat it again!
So, last weekend the weather was kinda vernal and me and my boyfriend decided to do one of our favourite thing: a (love) trip!
We choose a destination (possibly an hour distance from Vicenza) and we spend the whole day relaxing, visiting and taking pictures... is there anything better?

We went to Arquà Petrarca, a picturesque village nearby Padova, where the famous writer and poet Francesco Petrarca lived and died in the XIV century.
Even though when I was at school I used to hate this man (I mean, try to learn by heart one of his poem and let me know, lol), we had the chance to visit his house and we felt in love with it!
The atmosphere that this village evoke was romantic and timeless, perfect for walking hand in hand with your lover, pampered by the gentle rays of the sun.
I decided to wear a new entry in my wardrobe: a Sheinside faux fur vest.
I adore it ladies!
It's super comfortable, versatile and animal-friendly so a perfect combination!
I combined it with a leather jacket by Pimkie, a tartan shirt from Zara, a pair of skinny jeans and my cut-out ankle boots by Pimkie.

Sono stata assente per molti giorni e mi sono un pochino male al riguardo... Farò del mio meglio perchè non accada di nuovo!
Lo scorso week end il clima era piuttosto primaverile e io ed il mio ragazzo abbiamo deciso di fare una delle cose che preferiamo di più: una gita fuori porta!
Decidiamo una destinazione (possibilmente ad un'ora di distanza da Vicenza) e passiamo l'intera giornata a rilassarci, visitare e fare foto... c'è niente di meglio?
Siamo stati ad Arquà Petrarca, un borgo pittoresco in provincia di Padova, dove il famoso scrittore e poeta Francesco Petrarca visse e morì nel XIV secolo.
Per quanto io l'abbia odiato ai tempi di scuola (Voglio dire, provate ad imparare una delle sue poesie a memoria e poi fatemi sapere, hehe), abbiamo avuto la possibilità di visitare la sua casa e ce ne siamo innamorati!
L'atmosfera che questo borgo evoca è romantica e senza tempo, perfetta per passeggiare mano nella mano con il tuo amato, cullati dai raggi gentili del sole.
Ho deciso di indossare una new entry del mio guardaroba: un gilet in eco-pelliccia di Sheinside. Ragazze, lo adoro!
E' comodissimo, versatile e soprattutto non fatto con vera pelliccia, quindi una combinazione perfetta!
L'ho abbinato con una giacca in ecopelle di Pimkie, una camicia a fantasia tartan di Zara, un paio di skinny jeans e i miei stivaletti cut-out di Pimkie.

2014 trend: lip print!
This is a set I created on my Polyvore page to show you one of the 2014 trend: the lip print!
As you can read in this post, last friday at H&M my mym bought a skirt with this printing and if you pay attention, im almost every shop you can find at least one article with this design.
I personally like this trend because it can give a girly vibe to a casual look.
And you, what do you think about this trend? Gotta have it or make it stop?

come potete leggere nel mio post, lo scorso venerdì ad H&M mia mamma ha acquistato una gonna con questa stampa e se prestate attenzione, in quasi ogni negozio troverete almeno un articolo con questo design.
Personalmente mi piace questo trend perchè può dare un tocco femminile anche ad un look piuttosto casual.
E voi, cosa ne pensate di questo trend? Promosso o bocciato?

Alexander Wang Ready To Wear Fall/Winter 2014
Military, sporty, techno, futurist: these are just few adjectives you can attribute to Alexander Wang FW 2014-2015 new collection.
With minimal make up and hair style, almost absent, the models looked like a ferocius army squad ready to fight and conquer in their multi pocketed coats (that could easily carry grenades or simply a wallet), saddle bags and high boots.
The predominant color was the pencil grey, with acid green and neon pink accent on coats, sweaters and botties.
There were fabolous pieces that has to be mentioned: the leather jackets with futuristic army print, the blue canvas jacket and the horsewoman high leather boots with white Cuban heel.
Militare, sportiva, tecno e futurista: questi sono solo alcuni degli aggettivi che possono essere attribuiti alla nuova collezione di Alexander Wang Autunno/Inverno 2014-2015.
Con un make up e un'acconciature minimal, quasi assente, le modelle sembravano far parte di una feroce squadra militare pronta a combattere e conquistare, nelle loro giacche multi-tasche (in cui poter portare una granata o semplicemente il portafoglio), borse dalla forma a sellino e stivali alti.
Il colore dominante era il grigio grafite, con particolari verde acido o rosa neon su giacche, felpe e stivali.
C'erano inolte pezzi favolosi che meritano di venir menzionati: la giacca di pelle con una stampa militare futuristica, la giacca di tela azzurra e gli stivali di pelle da cavallerizza con il tacco bianco alla cubana.

Leather and studs.
Yesterday was my rest day from work and I decided to spend some good time with my Mum in downtown.
The sun was shining, the birds were singing... and the shops were open, so the day was very promising!
Even with the best intentions tho, I didn't by anything (Sob!) but my Mum surprised me buying this cute and girly pencil skirt:
You go Mum!
I will definitely gonna steal it for Valentine's day, hehe.
I
decided to wear my Zara military studded shirt with a (faux) leather
shirt by H&M and, since it was way to cold, my anlke booties.
As accessories I used a gold collar necklace by H&M.
Ieri era il mio giorno libero a lavoro e ho deciso di passare una bella giornata con mia mamma in centro città.
Il sole splendeva, gli uccellini cantavano... e i negozi erano aperti, quindi la giornata prometteva bene!
Anche con le migliori intenzioni comunque, non ho trovato nulla da acquistare (sigh!) ma mia mamma mi ha sorpreso acquistando questa gonna a matita molto carina e femminile da H&M.
Vai così mamma!
Gliela ruberò sicuramente per la sera di S. Valentino, hehe.
Ho deciso di indossare la mia camicia militare di Zara con le borchie sulle spalle con la gonna di ecopelle di H&M e, visto che faceva molto freddo, i miei stivaletti.
Come accessorio ho usato un collarino di H&M.

I must confess ladies, this is turning into a kind of obsession. I imagine myself with a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt and those at my feet and... BAM! you got the look!
The three models above are from the Winter 2013 edition, all glitz and sparkles, but you can find them in velvet, denim or chamois...
Don't your boyfriends know what to give you for Valentine's day yet? let them go here and make sure they have a valid credit card, lol

I modelli qui sopra fanno parte della collezione Inverno 2013, tutte glitter e brillantini, ma potete trovare modelli in velluto, denim, camoscio...
Il vostro fidanzato non sa ancora cosa regalarvi per San Valentibo? mandateli qui e assicuratevi che abbiano una carta di credito valida hehe.
